About Blue Hour Goods
“Blue Hour celebrates creativity, community, and connection with nature.
Based in Los Angeles, we offer herbal teas & natural treats through our traveling ApoTEAcary, plant-dye workshops, and creative experiences to inspire balance, joy, and self-expression.
Rooted in herbalism, self-care, and artistry, our offerings invite mindfulness, play, and connection while honoring the beauty of transitions, like the shifting hues of the blue hour.”

Part of an ongoing collaboration, this project started in 2022 with the label lettering and design for Blue Hour Goods products, when the store’s owner was looking for a female latina illustrator & designer.

The products were the following:
  • Tranquil Hour
  • Hora Azul (bath salts)
  • Intention Candles
  • Creativity & Inspiration Incense
  • Blue Hour Aromatherapy Pillow

The client requested to transmit the fact that the products are carefully handmade in California (previously Santa Barbara, now Los Angeles), and to emphasize the brand’s peaceful character.

From them on, we’ve worked on monthly event calendars shared on social media, as well as digital and print posters to announce upcoming workshops and collaborations.

Project steps:
  1. Brief, definition of main objectives.
  2. Collaborative moodboard and playlist.
  3. Research, brainstorm.
  4. Art direction.
  5. Initial sketches and color palette.
  6. Meeting with client.
  7. Final illustrations.
  8. Digital edition, layout, composition.

The crafting of this graphic style has aided in succesfully communicating Blue Hour’s values, thus connecting with the target audience.
