Three alternative posters for Knives Out (2019) as my project for a class by Ellen Lupton on Skillshare.
I wanted to emphasize three aspects:
1. The cozy mystery genre
2. Inspector LeBlanc’s comparison of the case with a donut
3. The plot’s similiraties to a boardgame
I applied a 70s/80s mystery novel book cover aesthetic.
